A truly life-changing experience. There is no greater way of experiencing the Nepali culture and lifestyle. During your six week placement you will become an adopted family member and work alongside Nepali people for the benefit of the future of Nepal. Various projects are available depending on your skills, experience and suitability including;

• Helping at various orphanages.
• Teaching English at schools and Buddhist monasteries.
• Helping at kindergartens.

You will be fully submerged and engaged in Nepalese culture, an experience you are never likely to forget. As a poor country, Nepal has a huge need for volunteers skills, idea‘s, and generous donation of time and effort.

Once you have booked we will provide you with material so you can start to prepare yourself for your project. We will also put you in contact with your placement, which provides a fantastic opportunity for you to get to know what is expected, and also lets them know who you are, what you enjoy, what experiences you have. This way the placement can learn about you and ask you to prepare information on specific western pursuits.

The majority of Nepalese don’t travel outside Nepal and are fascinated by the stories of life and culture you can share with them about the western world. Things that seem normal and mundane to you will marvel the Nepali people, just as their culture and way of life will do to you. Things will never seem the same again!

The huge sense off well-being achieved through helping others less fortunate is unparalleled, and the friendliness and unquestionable integrity and decency of the Nepali people is sure to leave you humbled. Although as great an impact you may be able to leave during your stay, there is no doubt that the most lasting impression is that which Nepal and its people leaves upon you.
